In gesprek

In Gesprek is op natuurlijke wijze ontstaan nadat ik na veel gesprekken met veel mensen merkte dat de mensen waarmee ik sprak hier echt baat bij hadden.

Persoonlijke aandacht, compassie en veiligheid zijn de basis van de gesprekken. Na een uitgebreid intake gesprek zullen de gesprekken een therapeutische vorm aannemen. Hierbij maak ik gebruik van verschillende technieken waardoor je meer innerlijke rust en verlichting ervaart, en je meer gecentreerd en in balans gaat voelen. 

Het doel van In Gesprek is om een ieder waarmee ik in gesprek ga zich gehoord te laten voelen, en in rust zijn of haar verhaal te laten vertellen. Vanuit een gevoel van compassie wil ik een luisterend oor bieden en zo een waardevol moment creëren. 

Aanvullend kunnen we samen een innerlijke reis maken zodat je triggers, onrust, angsten, stress, depressie, concentratiestoornissen en andere klachten op kunt lossen. Dit kan ook leiden tot het oplossen van lichamelijke klachten.

Dankzij verschillende technieken, methodes en kennis, die ik tijdens het reizen en daarna aanvullend met studies heb opgedaan, kan ik veel innerlijke en mogelijk fysieke ongemakken en behoeftes als roken en overeten wegnemen, om er een paar te noemen. 

Having a Conversation

Having a Conversation has naturally grown from noticing, after many conversations with many people, that the people I was having conversations with, experienced real benefits from them.

Personal attention, compassion and safety are the base of the conversations. After a comprehensive intake conversation the conversations will continue in a therapeutic form. I use different techniques which will help you to experience more inner peace and to feel lighter, more centered and balanced.

The goal of Having a Conversation is to give everyone I have a conversation with, the feeling of being heard and have them tell their story in peace. With compassion I like to offer a listening ear and create a valuable moment.

Additionally to our conversation we can make an inner journey together to dissolve triggers, hectic and chaotic feelings, feelings of stress or anxiety, depression, concentration issues and any other feelings of struggle. This can also lead to dissolving physical issues and take away the need to smoke or overeat, to name a couple.

Thanks to different techniques, methods and knowledge, which I gained during my travels and after that expanded through studies, I can take away many inner and possibly physical discomforts.

  1. My name is a Shireen and I am a expat living in the Netherlands. I WAS lost….

    When you have issues in your life that seem to repeat, you can’t escape situations that you’re in, and you have toxic people constantly in your life (even if you rid yourself of them, more of the same toxic people keep coming) then I challenge you to look inside yourself. This is how Anja has helped me.

    Break the cycle of unhappiness and heartache. Find the root of your behaviors and decisions and start healing from what is causing the issues in your life. You won’t be able to change your surroundings and situations without doing some work on yourself. With Anja’s guidance through meditation I was able to find myself, heal and move forward.

    The most powerful thing I have ever heard is, “The universe brings people together for a reason. You unconsciously choose people who, if you’re mentally unhealthy, will cause you pain and if you are healthy, will build you up.”

    Through Anja’s teaching and guidance I have found new hope, new energy and the choices I make are good for myself and therefor is good for everyone else that surrounds me.

  2. Zo prettig dat er met een open houding wordt geluisterd. Zonder oordeel geeft Anja de ruimte om gedachtes en gevoelens te uiten.
    Om een gesprek te hebben dat lucht geeft.
    Praten zorgt voor verbinding met anderen maar ook zeker met jezelf.
    Door de tijd te nemen, waar in alle rust ook stilte mag zijn, komt er rust en ruimte in jezelf.
    Fijn dat Anja dat kan geven.

  3. Living in the Netherlands as a British-immigrant, I have enjoyed all the delights and nuances that North-Holland has to offer and more. I have adapted well to Dutch culture and have embraced as much as I can. However, the expat lifestyle is one that is unstable and transient and when one is not firing on all cylinders, it can be unsettling and exhausting.

    My lovely Dutch Bubble came crashing down in October 2018. My husband, of whom we followed to the Netherlands to be together more, was travelling more and more. We had recently bought and moved in to a beautiful old town house and I was starting to look to go back to work, after a year’s hiatus adjusting us and our children to our new world. My doctor, took bloods and discovered my thyroid was not performing as it should be and suggested this was due to stress and that her best advice was to refer me to a Psychologist. She believed me to be depressed and suggested this was due to being a “buitenlander”. Simultaneously, issues from my childhood were arising after many years of nothing. In a nutshell, I couldn’t cope much with life any more and felt mentally and physically fatigued.

    I chatted with Anja, I disbelieved I was depressed and I didn’t feel stressed or sad. I was just struggling to move forward and was locked in a form of grief. Anja, was the first professional I have met that suggested we work on the roots of potential traumas in my life in a bid to heal and remove the chaos and noise that was affecting my day-to-day output and relationships. That by going back to these roots, we could heal me and get me back to my self. She didn’t write me a prescription for pharmaceutical pills and tell me to be on my way, or label me in a category of depression or expat-spouse boredom. She understands the human disposition, as a whole being and not a list of symptoms.

    We began communication work in January 2019 and she coached me alongside this work to adopt more self-care and allow myself time to disconnect from stressors. We had sessions for approximately 3.5 months and although digging out experiences was initially very hard. Each week, I could feel my strength and emotional and mental clarity return.

    I believe her work to be priceless and absolutely pivotal in adult mental and physical well-being. I feel like I have been on a personal journey of discovery and self-healing and now feel empowered to support and help other people using the tools she has given me. There will be times in my life that I need to go back to Anja, to help work through things that are too big for me alone. But right now, the work we have done has been golden.

    I now have Anja work with my children once a week on their big emotions. Growing up as an immigrant in a foreign country is a wonderful experience, but it is not without its struggles at times for children. She has great insight and understanding of these wonderful little adults in the making.

    I would highly recommend Anja for her Coaching Services to anyone that I meet that may be struggling with past or present issues and traumas of all levels.
